We aim to provide stimulating and creative activities, balanced with a healthy element od "quiet time".
The Baby Nursery
3 months to 2 years
Our staff are dedicated to providing a stimulating and happy nursery in which babies are encouraged to explore colour, shape and texture and develop early language skills and independence. Soft toys, play, stories, songs and walks, all form part of your baby’s day at the nursery. The Baby Nursery is self-contained and babies have their own playroom, sleep room and nappy changing area.
The Toddler Nursery
2 to 3 years
Children begin to demonstrate their independence and determination at this stage. They love to copy and mimic and there are noticeable changes in their emotional, social, physical and intellectual development. Social skills are encouraged, and through play the children will learn to listen, share, observe and interact with their peers. Painting, singing, modelling, wet-play and memory games, amongst others, are enjoyed, together with an introduction to numbers and letters. These activities form the foundation for pre-school work.
The Children’s Nursery
3 to 5 years
From the age of 3 years, children are able to concentrate for longer periods and respond well to teamwork and group activities. Whilst all children will progress at different speeds, they are generally now ready to engage in OFSTED’s Early Learning Goals, which lay the foundation for their transition to school. Our priority is to make learning an enjoyable experience. Our range of educational toys and equipment supports the development of imagination, intellect and language. Kid Ease works closely with local Primary Schools so that, wherever possible, the curriculum followed is consistent with the Schools’ approach.
Out-of-School Club
4 to 11 years
Where space permits, Kid Ease runs After-school and Holiday Clubs for children from the age of 4 – 11. The clubs are based on the same principles as our nurseries and children will enjoy a stimulating, creative environment with lots of play and interesting planned activities. Depending on location and sessions attended, Out-of-School Club children may require a packed lunch or tea.
