What we do.
Dear Parent Your children are our priority. By adopting a modern, flexible approach to childcare we provide a caring, nurturing and secure environment. In addition to our stand-alone nurseries, we also work in partnership with organisations, schools and hospitals.

In recognition of the demands of modern day living the nursery is open for children aged 3 months to 5 years, all year round, offering Out-of-School Clubs for school-age children at selected sites. We aim to provide stimulating and creative activities, balanced with a healthy element of “quiet time”.

The staff at Kid Ease are very important to your children and equally important to us. We employ enthusiastic and resourceful staff who have a genuine love of children and who share the Kid Ease values.

Flexible opening hours
We are open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm as standard, 51 weeks a year. In order to accommodate the needs of working parents, we operate extended hours in our workplace nurseries. In order to encourage continuity of care, children are required to attend a minimum of two separate half-day sessions per week.

Imaginative, stimulating and engaging activities
The early years will represent the most intense period of development in your child’s life. Our philosophy is to encourage children to learn through play. Children learn quickly when their interest is stimulated and in order to engage and maintain a young child’s attention, the activities need to be fun, and varied.

Inspirational environment
Kid Ease has developed a modern, creative and educational environment for children with an emphasis on enjoyment. Our nurseries are bright and clean, and the use of unique and innovative finishes provides an extra dimension for children.

Parent-focused approach
Kid Ease recognises the demands of modern day living and we have adopted a parent-focused approach to childcare, providing a fully inclusive service. Meals, drinks, snacks, nappies and a number of additional activities are inclusive in the fees.

Special educational needs
We are committed to the early identification, assessment and inclusion of children with special educational needs and work very closely with local Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators.

Multi-cultural provision
Our curriculum, including toys, books and equipment, provides information about many cultures and their celebrations, festivals and holidays, interest in what they are eating and where it originates from.

Healthy and delicious food
A well-balanced, healthy and nutritional diet is essential for children. Our freshly prepared daily meals are varied and cult urally diverse. Menus are available to parents in advance and special dietary needs and vegetarian food can be catered for wherever possible.

The highest standards of safety and security
All our nurseries and equipment are designed and maintained to high standards of safety and security, because this is of the utmost importance.

Staff are trained in safety matters, fire drills and evacuation practices are held regularly and there is always a qualified First Aid member of staff on-site. All staff are required to have a certificate of full enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.

Our staff
Our staff play a very important role in the development of your children and so they are important to us. We employ enthusiastic and resourceful nursery staff whose personal qualities are as important as their qualifications, experience and professionalism. We look for staff with a genuine love of children, a dedication to their work and who share the Kid Ease values.

Environmental awareness
Kid Ease is committed to environmental awareness and we use environmentally friendly and recyclable raw materials. Products and waste are recycled; energy efficient lighting and heating are installed where possible.( 9.5pt bold)

Grants and other assistance
Our curriculum meets the nationally recognised Foundation Stage approach following the Early Learning Goals in the six areas of learning and each nursery is registered to deliver the Early Years Grants for 3 and 4 year olds. We also pro-actively assist parents to seek and secure other forms of financial support from the Government, for example the Working Tax Credit. Childcare Vouchers and other Employer Schemes are also acceptable forms of payment of fees.

Children Centres and the Neighbourhood Nursery Initiative
Kid Ease operates three Children Centres and Neighbourhood Nurseries in Kent. Working in partnership with a number of external organisations and agencies, our Children Centres provide integrated child care, education, health services and family support for families with young children.
